3M Wetordry sheets and Scotch-Brite pads
3M 401Q Wetordry sheets are silicon carbide paper that can be used wet or dry by hand on paint, primer, gel coat and metal. Fine P1500 and P2000 grits are for the last steps before polishing.
The Scotch-Brite 7447 maroon hand pad (6 x 9 inch, aluminium oxide, very fine) cleans, scuffs and finishes wood and metal and replaces steel wool and wire brushes; it does not rust or splinter.
