Road reflectors on this page

A road reflector sends the light of a vehicle's headlights back towards the driver, so an object or a line on the road shows up in the dark. It needs no power. This category has three products.

  • Dark Eye road reflectors for guardrails, barriers and posts: plastic reflectors in red, amber and white. Shapes are round (DA-955), round with ring (DA-956), rectangle (DA-958), triangle (DA-959), long rectangle (DA-970), rectangle with lugs (DA-974) and a reflective strip (DA-975). They are fixed on guardrails, barriers, poles and gates.
  • Kunplast road stud reflectors: 10 x 9 cm cat eye studs with pre-drilled holes, in a white body with red reflectors or a yellow body (high-reflective or industrial). Sold in packs of 5, 10, 20 and 50.
  • Ladwas road reflector stud: yellow pavement markers in a pack of 10, for speed bumps, crossings, sidewalks and driveways.

How to choose a road reflector

  • Surface: for vertical surfaces such as guardrails, barrier faces, poles and gate posts, use the Dark Eye shapes. For the road surface itself, use reflector studs.
  • Shape: round and rectangle reflectors suit posts and gates; the long rectangle and strip suit guardrails; the version with lugs is meant for bolting on.
  • Colour: red, amber and white reflectors are used to mark different sides and hazards. Follow the scheme your site or road owner uses.
  • Quantity: count the posts, guardrail length and lane length you need to mark, and order studs in the pack size that fits.

Reflectors work best when they are clean and face the traffic, so check them during routine site rounds.
