Why eyewear cleaning matters
Safety glasses and goggles that are dusty, oily or smudged are hard to see through, and workers often take them off. That is when eye injuries happen. A lens cleaning station near the work area makes it easy to keep eyewear clear, so it stays on. Use the tissues and fluid made for the station, not shirt sleeves or rough cloth, which scratch lenses.

- Penetrant: spray, wait for it to soak into the rust, then loosen the part. Keep it away from heat and use it in a ventilated area.
- Stainless steel cleaner: spray on, wipe with a soft cloth along the grain, and buff for a clean finish.
