The wrong mask gives false confidence

A dust mask does nothing against solvent vapour, and a respirator with a gap at the chin lets in unfiltered air. The training is practical: participants learn to pick the right respirator for their task and practise fit checks on their own masks.

We supply masks and respirators along with other PPE. Pair it with chemical safety or hot work safety training.

How do I choose the right respirator?

It depends on the hazard (dust, fumes, gas or vapour), its concentration and the work. The training explains how to match them.

Can workers with beards use respirators?

Tight-fitting respirators need a clean-shaven seal area. Loose-fitting powered respirators are an option for workers with beards.

How often should cartridges be changed?

It depends on the contaminant and use. We explain change schedules and the signs that a cartridge is spent.

Do participants get a certificate?

Yes, a certificate of participation for each person.
