A disposable respirator is a light mask made of filter media, worn for a shift and thrown away. 3M masks have a metal nose clip for a better seal and several filter layers.
Which mask?
9004IN and 9000ING: flat fold dust masks for general dust, cement and pollution; 9000ING is FFP1 type (maker’s rating).
9004GV: flat fold with an exhalation valve; FFP1 type (maker’s rating). The valve keeps the mask cooler in heat.
8822: cup shape with a valve and soft nose foam; P2 type (maker’s rating), for fine dust in grinding, sanding and cutting.
9913: cup mask with a carbon layer for dust, mist and nuisance odours of organic vapour.
