Venus moulded cup respirators with Stay Cool exhalation valve: V-20 and V-90 FFP2 type (maker's rating), carbon layer V-2424, acid gas V-2426 and the CN95 OV.

Venus cup respirator masks

A cup respirator holds its shape away from the mouth, so it is comfortable and easy to breathe through. Venus cup masks have a convex cup seam design, head loops and a Stay Cool exhalation valve on most models.

  • V-20 (grey or white) and V-90 net mask: FFP2 type (maker’s rating) for fine dust; V-90 has a half foam seal and an outer net.
  • V-2424 SLOV-V: FFP2 type with an activated carbon layer for nuisance organic vapour and odour.
  • V-2426 SL-AC: full foam seal, FFP2 type, for dust, oil mist and nuisance acid gas below exposure limits.
  • CN95 OV: cup style, N95 type (maker’s rating), for industrial, construction and farm dust.

Is the valve useful?

Yes on long or hot shifts: it lets warm breath out and keeps the mask cooler.

What does the carbon layer do?

It reduces nuisance odours of organic vapour and gas; it is not a replacement for a gas filter respirator.
