Near furnaces and molten metal, most heat arrives as radiation. Aluminised fabric reflects it. Udyogi aluminised clothing uses an aluminised aramid outer:
Aluminised suit: three layers (aluminised aramid, woollen lining, inner layer), coverall or jacket and trouser, with helmet, gloves and leg guard; for intense heat, steam and hot liquids.
Long coats: the aluminised coat comes with a pair of gloves; the Jutec HSM120KA-2 is preox-aramid aluminised.
Bib apron: one-piece, open back, for metal splash and welding.
Hoods: Jutec TRGG hood with visor frame, and an aluminised hood for head, face and neck.
