Types of reflective jackets

How to choose a reflective safety jacket
- Colour: orange and fluorescent green are the most common for roads and sites. Many companies also use colours to tell teams apart, for example yellow for workers and blue or green for supervisors.
- Fabric: mesh is cooler for outdoor work in summer; plain polyester is a little stronger and holds printing better.
- Reflective strips: wider strips and strips that go all round the body are easier to see from every side in headlights.
- Fit: the vest should go over a uniform or winter wear without being loose enough to catch on machines.
- Pack: jackets are sold in sets of 2 and packs of 5 or 10 for teams.
