What this range covers

Some safety needs are not about what a worker wears but about the workplace itself: what happens after a chemical splash, how a spill is cleaned up, and how waste is collected and kept apart. This page brings those supplies together.

  • Emergency eye wash and safety showers: Udyogi portable eye wash (EW 3501, 34 litre) and 500 ml eye wash bottle, eye and face wash fountains (4220, 4710, 4810), drench showers (6810, 4101) and combination shower and eye wash units (6220, 6250), in GI or stainless steel.
  • Chemical spill kits: Venus SORB VKIT 50 and VKIT 120 with absorbent pads, socks and pillows in a container.
  • Dustbins and waste bins: Nilkamal pedal bins, round bins with lid from 10 to 80 litres, street collection and push cart bins, wheeled bins from 90 to 240 litres, dome lid bins, 660 and 1100 litre community bins, wheel barrows and the Aerocomp composter, and the Prima 120 litre wheeled bin.

How to plan for your site

  • Chemical areas: where acids, alkalis or solvents are handled, keep an eye wash or combination shower close to the work, on a clear path. Use a portable unit where there is no water line.
  • Spills: keep a spill kit near chemical and oil stores, drum areas and loading bays, sized for the largest container on site, and refill it after use.
  • Waste: use colour coded bins to keep wet, dry and other waste apart, small bins inside offices and cabins, wheeled bins on each floor and large community bins at the collection point.
  • Material: stainless steel suits corrosive or hygiene areas; GI suits general plant use. Bins in sun and rain should be UV stabilised plastic.

General Safety FAQs

Quick answers to what buyers ask us most. For anything else, ask us on WhatsApp.

Ask on WhatsApp
Where should an emergency eye wash be installed?

Close to where chemicals are handled, on a clear and level path, so a person can reach it within seconds with their eyes closed. Labs, battery rooms and chemical stores are common places.

Do I need a spill kit at my plant?

If you store or handle oils, chemicals or fuels in drums or cans, a spill kit near those areas lets staff contain and soak up a spill quickly before it spreads.

Which dustbins are used for waste segregation?

Colour coded bins, such as green for wet waste and blue for dry waste. Nilkamal dome lid and wheeled bins and the Prima 120 litre bin come in several colours.

GI or stainless steel eye wash, which is better?

Stainless steel resists rust and is easier to keep clean, so it suits corrosive and hygiene areas. GI is the lower cost choice for general plant use.

Are the prices on this page final?

No. Each product shows a starting price as a guide, before GST. The final price comes with your quote and depends on the options and quantity.
