Hearing protection works only when it is worn properly

Foam ear plugs pushed in halfway give little protection, and muffs worn over a thick cap leak sound. The training is short and practical: every participant learns to fit plugs and muffs correctly.

When is hearing protection needed?

In areas where the noise is high enough that people have to shout to be heard at about one metre.

Plugs or muffs?

Both work when fitted well. Plugs suit hot conditions and long wear; muffs are easy to put on and off.

Is it a long training?

No. It is usually a short, practical session that can be combined with other topics.

Do participants get a certificate?

Yes, a certificate of participation for each person.
